Prerequisites:
This course is designed for students who have completed B & W Intensive II, B & W Photographer II or have equivalent experience.

Objective:
Photographer 3 Course will give experienced students the ability to manipulate B&W and Colour Films and document results. Assist in pre-visualisation, improve printing skills and create a film testing program. The class may work towards a group exhibition or prepare a portfolio.

Week 1
- Course Introduction
- Personal Log Book
- Black & White Infrared Film
- The use of filters
- Project: Landscape

Week 2
- Processing & Proofing B&W Infrared
- Create Film Processing Chart
- Add information to Personal Log Book
- Intro to fast Films B&W
- Using hand held light meter (reflective & Incident readings)
- Test Film Speed of available Black & White Fast Films: Fuji Neopan 1600,
   Ilford Delta 3200, Kodak T-Max 3200
- Test various film developers
- Q & A - Problem Solving

Week 3
- Process and proof fast films
- Create Film Processing Chart
- Add Information to Personal Log Book
- Cross Processing Colour Transparency Film
- Choosing a Photo-Lab
- Q & A - Problem Solving

Week 4
- View results
- Q & A Problem Solving
- Add Information to Personal Log Book
- B & W Advanced Printing Techniques (split grade)
- Discuss work in progress
- Cross Processing Colour Negative Film

Week 5 - Student Slide Presentation (cross processed negs to slide)
- Q & A Problem Solving
- Add Information to Personal Log Book
- B & W Advanced Printing Techniques
- Colour Infrared Film

Week 6 - Student Slide Presentation (colour infrared)
