Why Byron Bay: Heard a lot about it from other travellers, guidebooks,
noticeboards.
Best thing about Byron Bay: The beach and the pleasant town.
Worst thing about Byron Bay: Nothing really noticed, everyone has
been really friendly.
Have you met any locals: No.
Best place to eat: At my cabin the caravan park.
Why: Been cooking for myself to save money.
Favorite daytime activity: Relaxing by the ocean.
Favorite nightspot: Cheeky Monkey's
Why: Stuffed with backpackers, all of whom share a common bond, and
shared experiences.
What's your passion: Living life to the fullest, we only get to go
around once, might as well make it worthwhile.
One thing to change about Byron Bay: The season ... wish it was summertime!
Photographer's impression:
Adie was sitting alone at a picnic table at the top end of Jonson Street,
reading a Lonely Planet (I think) guidebook to Australia. He was willing
to talk to me, but seemed a bit reluctant about the photography part
of the project, but decided he was game to give it a go. Once I pulled
the camera, he started, unconciously, I think, to pose a bit without
looking like he was posing. Interesting the contrast between Adie and
Jamie in their mannerisms once the lens was pointed their way.
