My Conversation With Ludo… Tuesday 23rd July 2002 - 3.30pm WHO IS THIS GUY? He is an Aries, born on the 13th of April 1975. (27 Years old…maybe he should consider staying for his Saturn return, but I don't breech on that!) He is born the Year of the Wood Rabbit in Chinese Astrology. He has his North Node in Sagittarius. His Birth Force Number is a 3 and his Destiny in Life Number is 9, which also his field of opportunity. Artist and Illustrator suit his field of opportunity perfectly. YOU CAME ALL THIS WAY FOR…? His simply answer was because I liked hearing about it! He met an Australian guy in the French Alps and he told Ludo that he would like Byron Bay. WHAT IS THE BEST THING ABOUT BYRON? The beach, all the pretty girls and the cafés, although not necessarily in that order. It's a small town and you have a lot of choice of what you would like to do. The concentration of different people in a village like atmosphere, without the big city feel is very appealing. WHAT IS THE WORST THING ABOUT BYRON? To have to drive a car in the heat of Summer. HAVE YOU MET ANY LOCAL PEOPLE? A lot, and I have made a few good friends. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PLACE TO EAT AND WHY? That depends on what my appetite is and on how much I want to spend. Fresh is good and so is Olivio 2 Go. I speak about the taste, freshness and combination of friendly service and value for money. YOUR FAVORITE DAYTIME ACTIVITY IS? Surfing and drawing. YOUR FAVORITE NIGHT SPOT IS? I don't drink alcohol, so I visit cafés, and I often come to Pasquales. I watched the World Cup Finals here. The Backroom at The Great Northern is a great venue to see live bands. The room is not too big and not too small. I enjoy the reggae, the Dj's, it's a funky, groovy place. WHAT IS YOUR PASSION? Surfing , drawing and travelling of course! IF THERE IS ONE THING ABOUT BYRON THAT YOU COULD CHANGE, WHAT WOULD IT BE? I would place ashtrays near rubbish bins, so that there was somewhere to place the cigarette butts as I forget to think of picking up one of those plastic film containers. I would like a Skatepark, so when the surf is low there is somewhere else to go. It would give the younger teenages, something to do.
